Zoom on the brioche

The street vendors set up next to the metro gates, in the markets, at street corners, where fruit or meat kebab, popcorn or egg-crêpes can be found… With prices between 1 to 2 Yuan, that’s the cheapest we can get. (See 'Ambiances' section)
Products differ depending of the season. In winter: pineapple tortellini-like cut, apples, milky pears, mini or maxi tangerines, bananas. In summer: melons, watermelons, flat or round peaches, boiled corn …
Especially in the cold season, there is sweet popcorn made in an iron pot spinning by hand-motion.
Last winter, the big fashion was the “fast-mini pizza”. Made of a thin slide of flour and briefly topped with a mixture layer of meat, paprika, tomatoes and spices to hide the taste of bread. The price is 2 Yuan (20 cents of Euro). Pizzas without cheese. Here it’s considerate that milky products make people fat. Yogurt in small glass or clay bottles can be found on the streets.
